Infected (EN)

This issue we have aptly named Infected. We feel that it is vitally important to speak not only about the real and serious threat and spread of COVID-19, but also about the other types of infections (of both the good and bad varieties) that spread in such climates. With this in mind, the issue has been designed to showcase how both contemporary and past artists and writers have responded during times of pandemic, when the spread of disease proved to be the catalyst for a different kind of infection: the infectious spread of the creative impulse. We have collected together some original voices that articulate how the pandemic has changed their lives. They all speak through the medium of their individual crafts, providing insight, humor, and perspective on this period of dramatic change.
